DIRECTV dropping OANN?

How could you bow down to the WOK cancel culture demands to dropping OANN?  They do not lie!  The "big lie of the 2020 election" is absolutely true. There is mountains of evidence of the election steal. All the misinformation comes from liberals not conservatives!  My husband and I will be dropping Directv if you go thru this in April. I will convince all our friends and family to do likewise. This is an attack on freedom of speech and our country. Shame on you!!!!

My sister lives in Houston in a Senior Establishment.  The apartments furnish Direct TV for the residents.  Until a few days ago she had the station OAN which was her favorite.  It is gone now with no warning!  When she contacted the office she was told that Direct TV dropped it.  Why??

It is sad to think that Freedom of Speech is being taken away and that we have people that want our country to be communist where everything is censored!

We're disappointed that DirecTV has canceled this channel. It was our favorite as well.

Why is OAN no longer on Direct TV? I’m a long time Direct TV customer, but I will cancel my service without OAN.

Cancelled my Directv account this week when they cancelled OANN and switched to Roku...so great not to see all the (Edited per community guidelines) Directv commercials!!  Wish I had switched a long time ago.

I dropped Xfinity because they did not carry OANN. Signed up for AT&T so I could get OANN, now you dropped it. I guess I’ll have to drop AT&T now as well. Will be looking for a new service that offers OANN.

We have been customers for 15 years and are currently finding different service for satellite or cable or streaming because at&t took over and are communists they took off OAN because it didn't fit their stupid (Edited per community guidelines) narrative also they raised prices so I'm done and DirecTV can go kick rocks I don't need to support communism in America! Disgusting bye bye DirecTV

Lots of us feel the same way and have bowed out.  This thread will be moved to the 97 page megathread as soon as the mods discover it.  Lots of alternatives in there if you need suggestions.

I believe that you should offer many varieties of news and programs and let we the people decide what we want to watch and listen to.  I don’t think that the people need to be told that a certain station is too (Edited per community guidelines) for you to offer.   I am seriously considering canceling my account with you.

This has been a bone of contention for many of us here. The cancellation department has been very busy. 

Now your only good choice is Newsmax. 

Our argument has been, if we don't like a channel we skip over it and watch what we want to but at least give us that choice.

Did you get an answer?  No one at DirecTV or AT&T seems willing to answer the question "Why did you cancel OAN news channel?"  Suggestions I have heard are that these big corporations are being run by narrow-minded, intolerant liberals who fear views that are not consistent with their own woke views.

The answer has been it was a decision from an "internal review". Many people believe it was influenced by outside forces, as stated in the many threads in the forum or other discussions found all over the web. But so far, AT&T/DirecTV have not explained any further what that "internal review" actually entailed.
