DIRECTV dropping OANN?

How could you bow down to the WOK cancel culture demands to dropping OANN?  They do not lie!  The "big lie of the 2020 election" is absolutely true. There is mountains of evidence of the election steal. All the misinformation comes from liberals not conservatives!  My husband and I will be dropping Directv if you go thru this in April. I will convince all our friends and family to do likewise. This is an attack on freedom of speech and our country. Shame on you!!!!

I am hearing that Directv will be discontinuing OANN, and I want to know why.  I don't want to hear that it is because Directv is jumping on the censorship bandwagon.  That is not the way to conduct service, you will lose MILLIONS of customers.

The Comrades at the executive level at D TV sure just made it easy for me to eliminate you product from consideration. with the communist move a removing OAN. In theory it’s not AT&T.  They said that while they’re majority stockholder in DTV, they wouldn’t be exercising any operational control. Of course, who knows if that’s true.

It is the way their brain works, we're all suppose to default to CNN and fall in line with idiotic mockingbird narratives when they cancel opposition. They don't understand, me canceling them is so much more satisfying and easier than vice versa and woke goes broke. Please reconsider this move. If Att follows through on it I will be cancelling my Directtv stream account and 2 other separate account I manage for family members.

Also will be changing 3 cell accounts to Verizon. 

Reconsider this get woke go broke appeasement of the left att.

I will not support companies that are supposed to be informational that censor out certain views. If you don't wish to broadcast politics, take off ALL the news stations.  Or none.  Do not pick and choose.   And I would be supportive if you broadcast everything!  News stations from around the world, no matter how ridiculous, would possibly be informational on what the rest of the world is watching.

AT&T probably wants OAN to pay for carriage, just like other news channels (Fox, CNN, etc). No more free ride.

The adults mainly watch two channels; one of them is OAN.  The kids watch their tablets.  Without OAN, there is little reason to have your service. 

I don't know when you are canceling, but the day this channel isn't available, I'll be calling your cancelation number.

Thanks for the response,  Litz: I've read it on other threads.  I appreciate you trying to keep everyone informed. 

I suppose it doesn't really matter what their motives are-i don't have any false illusions of a world wide company's political bent. It's just a matter of whether or not their product is useful.

News organizations have speculated DTV is not renewing OANN contract after Pres Biden implored media outlets to practice censorship (yes that is what it is...)

I have been a customer since 1996. If you drop OANN, which I hardly watch, I will soon become a cable customer again.  If anyone wants to argue that OANN pushes false stories they can simply move up one channel to FSTV and watch Stephanie M and get the same falsehoods....but disguised as "truth". Let people make their own decisions its not YOUR place to do that for them

Please confirm if DirecTV plans on cancelling OAN.  If so, not only will I be leaving DirecTV but I will launch a neighborhood campaign for others to follow.  

It is an exceptionally foolish move as droves of people have already ditched this service for other more affordable and ethical options .  I assure you that there will be a mass exodus. People willing to pay exorbitant prices usually are not fans of censorship.

We will drop Directv if you drop OANN.  The only reason we did not leave last year is because you had OANN and Comcast did not.

At the request of Joe Biden DirectTV is cancelling OAN News when their contract is up.  This is blatant political censorship of (Edited per community guidelines) news and if they follow through I will be cancelling my DirectTV account!!!
