They announced a few months ago that they would part ways with OANN once the current carriage agreement completed.

Regardless of your payment, channels may change at any time. Like other TV providers, they have a clause in the Terms of Service that states this.

As for the why, the official reason is that it is the result of an "internal review". However, per other sources, many are convinced that it was politically influenced. Whether they are correct or not doesn't change that AT&T/DirecTV still made a decision that was their right to do so.

You will need to seek out another option to watch OANN.

Hello @elf22, we want you to stay with the DIRECTV family.

Let's meet in a Direct Message to get the proper assistance and check options. Please review your DIRECTV Message inbox (it's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums)

I agree this was a bad decision.  OAN is certainly a right-side source, but MSNBC and CNN are certainly equally left-sided.  I chose to stay with DirecTV and not move to one of the many other streaming options because they offered both left and right oriented channels, and it's important to hear both sides.  With this move, DirecTV is clearly indicating their intentions to move to the left.  With so many choices available, and more coming, I and others I know will be leaving DirecTV, and have already begun subscribing to other services' trial periods.  I've been a DirecTV customer for well over a decade; it was a good run while it lasted.

@DIRECTVhelp

Carlos, we reached out to DirecTV help a couple of months ago to no avail. Now, we're gone. Someone should have responded.
