That depends on what sort of DirecTV service you have through your apartment complex. Most apartments are serviced by "Multi-Dwelling Unit" providers, not directly by DirecTV. You likely need to contact your landlord for that information.

If the service is in your rent, you will need to contact the landlord or system operator they go through about updating DirecTV. However, if you pay DirecTV itself, then you should be able to call to discuss the account.
You cannot simply add channels to DirecTV. You must raise your package to one that includes the channels you want. Service is packaged, not al-a-carte.
DirecTV is a TV provider only. They do not have internet.
