At&t is the worst company ever!!!!!

I am so done with At&t and all their lies and supposive miscommunication. In case you (At&t) didn't know you can only screw over customers for so long before you get a very bad reputation witch from the report I read the other day witch listed At&t among the top 10 worst company's when it comes to customer service your already there! I've put up with alot over the years but I'm dropping my 8 lines of wireless service and direct tv ASAP!! I'VE NEVER FELT BETTER!!!

This is a public forum of other customers, and the occasional employee off the clock. We can help provide guidance on many things, sometimes better than newer agents from our years of experience, if you were to provide details of the actual issue you have with your DirecTV service.

Otherwise to cancel and to officially let them know why you are doing so, you must call customer support.

If you are being billed for the service month that started after you called, then yes they need to fix that. If through customer support, and at least through a supervisor, doesn't take care of it then a BBB/FCC complaint is the next step.

However if you are being billed for days after you called that are within the same service month then it is correct as like many other companies they do not prorate the bill.
