Billing

I paid my account on 2/28 from my mobile banking app. My account has been suspended. I paid $186 more on 3/1. I got a PDK from CHASE Bank proving the first payment had gone through. Nobody at Directv has any idea what is going on. How to you get through when you have proof of payment and everyone you talk to is clueless?

AFAIK only using a CC will post within an hour or 2 all other payment methods take a day or 2 to post.

Your "mobile banking app" would be the issue. That is a 3rd party method, meaning it can take up to 3 business days to post to your DirecTV account.

For payments to post same day, they must be over the phone (preferably with the voice system so you don't incur the $5 phone transaction fee for doing so with a live agent) or through your DirecTV account.

If you are so far past due you are in danger of being suspended, it is best to pay through the direct methods so they post as soon as possible. Using your bank's options, MoneyGram, or any other indirect method risks delaying the payment posting which increases the chance of service interruption as you've experienced.
