Can you hire monkeys instead of your customer service

Your direct tv disconnect my service by mistake and when i called to get the issue resolved they told me that i have to pay the early cancellation fee and sign up for another 2 years of service so i can get my service back. I have all my conversation recoreded and i can send it to you. I mean a monky might have a better sense than someone like that. You will never be able to have a good clients with a service like that

That agent was completely in the wrong. If service canceled in error than they should absolutely turn it back on. Even if account was voluntarily canceled, or non-payment, you don't pay the early cancellation fee itself as once reactivated that is reversed. Sounds like you were talking to a new account sales agent who was trying to fraudulently get commission for a new account instead of directing you to the department you needed.

Call DirecTV 1-800-531-5000 and when you get the voice system say "cancel" as this should route you directly to the retention/cancelation department. Provided no additional issues from the new billing account system everybody is being moved to, then they should be able to reactivate the account fairly easily.
