CANCEL MY DIRECT TV
I've requested this to be cancelled 4 times now and your agents keep leaving my chat. Do I need to sue?

You can only cancel by calling them directly .... 1 800 531 5000
Say "cancel" at the voice prompt.

The problem is that you are not using the correct process. You cannot cancel service via the Chat option. That is only there to supplement customer service, not a way to completely avoid calling in.
Like most companies you must call DirecTV (say "cancel" at the voice prompt to route you directly). This is because they want a live agent to talk with you about the situation and see what they can do to retain you as a customer. If there offers do not work for you, then they have disclosures to go over.

Keep in mind they won't turn it off until your next billing cycle. You will be charged for service until then...want it, or not.
