Cancel our Direct TV

Our budget at 80 years of age no longer supports Direct TV.  We would like to cancel.

This isn't customer service no one here can cancel your account you have to call directv 1-800-531-5000

You cancel the same way, through customer support not a customer-to-customer forum.

Call DirecTV 1-800-531-5000

Get voice prompt say "cancel"

Inform agent you want to cancel.

Agent will try to find an option to retain your business (is required of them).

Politely listen to options (within reason).

If options work then great, but if not then continue with cancellation.

Final bill is not prorated, so you pay for full month no matter how many days are left.

Verify if you have time left on a service agreement/early cancellation fee (ECF).

What are the models of each box you have? Just to double check if returnable or not as too many agents just give general info on this and don't verify the model against the current returnable list.
