Cancellation of my mother's account as her POA.

I'm trying to find a phone number directly to the carol stream, Il address.  Having trouble getting my mother's account cancelled.  Being told it is "above" the regular customer service level and to mail another letter to the carol stream address.  But it took seven weeks to process the request to cancel and they won't back date the cancellation. Help.

Ok so account canceled with POA, meaning mother is still living (as POA voids upon passing). Your dispute is that it took seven weeks and cancellation is not backdated?

Per the Terms of Service, cancellation occurs at the end the bill cycle. There is no proration or backdating in general. However, if it took seven weeks once they received it and they didn't count the cancellation in the cycle it was received but the following one, that I see as an issue. For that you would need to file a BBB complaint as gets forwarded to the corporate level. Usually get contact back within a few business days.
