Channel Lineup
Can you tell me why you removed the Game Show Network and DIY from the Choice package. It's not like these are premium movie channels that one would only expect in s higher priced package. Many people are home right now because of the pandemic and having something to watch on tv was at least a little relief. I had both channels included in my Choice package in the past, and now they are gone. People are out of work, and now you want them to spend even more money to get basic cable channels. Very disappointed.

The free Covid-19 preview expired on July 31 so the channels are now back in their normal packages.

I can see premium channels being included in higher priced packages, but these are pretty basic channels. and by the way Covid-19 is NOT over.

Doesn't matter if Covid-19 is over or not, DTV's agreement with the content providers for the free preview expired.

Channels that are actually "premium" are add-ons (HBO, Starz, etc.). Other channels are in the packages that their owners agreed to.
DIY has always been in less packages, so needs Xtra or higher. So the national freeview just ended returning you to only what you pay for.
However, GSN is in Choice and higher. That one should still be working. Try refreshing the service authorizations www.directv.com/refresh and even a red button reset. If that doesn't work provide more info (exact name of package, what happens when you try the channel, model of boxes, etc.).
And nobody was saying that Covid-19 was over. We were saying that the FREEVIEW of channels that were provided as a courtesy are over. You don't get a free ride for the entirety of Covid.

Recently, several of the channels that I have been watching since last November are no longer available in my channel lineup, as well. I don't recall hearing of channels to be dropped. My issue is not covid-19 related because my service began long before.

There was a known issue that some people previously (before Covid) who enjoyed a free national freeview week of channels (typically the Xtra package), still had some of those channels after the promotion week ended. Apparently the long-term freeview for Covid that just ended did a full proper push through of authorizations that fixed the issue.
So what are the channels you are missing and what is the exact name of your package? That will determine if you should still have them, or were one who was affected by the prior known issue that just got fixed for you.
