Channels not used but part of the package.

Why do all packages contain Spanish channels as part of there package, 400-499, and then are counted as part of the say 350 channel package when I don't use them nor do i speak Spanish. That's 99 channels i'm paying for but never used.

Agreements with networks require what packages they are in. Because a huge presence in our country is those who speak both, it is common enough to include them.

At 350(ish) I take it you have Premier. Check the channels and make sure that is the right package for you. Regardless of Spanish channels or not, nobody watches every single channel they have. Best to make sure you are not on a higher one then you use. https://www.att.com/channels/directv/

Give me a break 99 channels in a row I will never watch seems a bit much to me for me to be able see say FX and FX2 because part of another package. Only 13.5 percent of Americans only speak Spanish, and they should be able to watch Spanish speaking stations with their own package.
