Confirmation on Payment

How come I can not get a Confirmation # when I pay my bill at that time? Every month I have to Hunt all over for it, I never find it at the same place. Sometimes I get a Text Message giving me the # sometimes it is listed on the Account Summary. I get an E-Mail saying it was paid on such and such date but NO CONFIRMATION #. Is this to much to ask for?

Hi Gregff, thank you for sharing your concern with DIRECTV. I'll be glad to answer your question. If you pay with a debit/credit card, check, or autopay, you'll receive the confirmation number of your payment via SMS or Email. You can always check your payment status by signing in to your account through directv.com. If you need any more guidance, please DM us on Social Media. Our team is ready to help you out. Thanks, I managed to get the number after calling Customer service. I just boggles the mind to me why I can get a confirmation # from other companies when I submit the payment at that time. BUT Not from direct TV. Has always been a nightmare to obtain it. Yes I have my debit card receipt that shows it paid I like to have the confirmation Number for my records as well.
