Didn't get what we planned on!!

What would you do? Two weeks ago we called to check on getting Direct TV as we had moved. The man had a hard time understanding our English but we got the order in and he said our TV and Internet would be hooked up in a couple of days. The TV man came but the other one never showed up so I called. The representative had told us everything wrong the price, the time  the price last, and that we have to call the internet man ourself and have it bundled. Now we have TV we can't afford and no internet. What would do? No one seemed to care!!

If the agent was having trouble understanding you then that makes even more important to read the order confirmation to verify exactly what is on the order. Once installed and activated you got exactly what the order shows.

If you cannot afford DirecTV by itself, then DirecTV and internet together would be out of budget. A bundle doesn't make 2 services cheaper than one, just gives you an additional (temporary) intro discount for the new provider you didn't already have.

Unfortunately not much can be done. You can certainly call DirecTV to see about reducing your TV package to something more affordable. But for internet you either see about ordering a bundle for an internet provider in your area through DirecTV, or you call a local provider directly to discuss options.

(This is the AT&T TV part of the forum. Moving to DirecTV).
