If you want to cancel (cut the cord as you say), then call DirecTV. Otherwise if you want help from other customers (this is a public forum, not official support), then post something useful.
We try to help each other out, but have no personal interest if you cancel or not.
As a note, per Covid-19 they are greatly understaffed because of many call centers closed, and additional employees on extended leave with all the stay at home orders. So customer support right now is very stretched, understandably so. I agree before this situation there was improvement to be made, particularly in knowledge for those agents who were more familiar with AT&T. But at the moment they are doing what they can, just like the rest of the country.
