Name on the DirecTV account does not change. It is tied to the owner's name and SSN. The owner must cancel (or move) the service and then the remaining person orders a new account.
Directv account. There should be a way to change it when a household member is no longer a member of the household. The billing name and address are changed, but the ex's info is still listed as the display name.
I’m not understanding. If a household member moved out, why did you change the billing address and billing name then? Are you trying to continue to receive directv under the same account? Did this household member take their DIRECTV sub with them or never cancel it?

Which "account"? This Forum or your DirecTV Account? Generally you can't change your DirecTV account name without transferring the account.
