Disposing old Direct TV Equipment

Hi,

I was directed to AT&T disposal program to have an old Satellite removed.  Unfortunately, I was given a shipping label and asked to box the Satellite myself.  Unfortunately, the Satellite is huge and connected to a large pole so I'm not able to box it.  Is it possible for AT&T/Direct TV to arrange the pickup?

Thank you,

Ms. Somali

No.  Once the dish is installed it becomes the property of the homeowner.

If you are unable to remove it, perhaps you can find a handyman who can.

You take the metal dish to a metal recycling center, the LNB goes to an e waste center.

What everybody else said. The shipping label is intended for the return of eligible DirecTV DVRs and receivers.

You don't return the receiving dish. All you send back are the receiver/client boxes.

The receiving satellite dish, like everything else, you own upon install. You can leave it if you so choose.
