Do you want your DISH?

I stop MT AT&T service and was told send all inside equipment back (which did), but DISH still on my roof. I elderly and no can get off. Do you not want back? I no told send dish back. I just get bill $0.00, let me know account close. What do?

The dish becomes part of your property and doesn't need returned

Only the receiver/client boxes are sent back (if still returnable models). Everything else, including receiving dish, you own upon install. So the dish does not go back.

If later you have someone remove it for whatever reason, it is suggested to leave the mounting plate to avoid leaks. Most of the dish is simple metal recycling, but the LNB (the "eye") would go with electronics.
