Drop Fox News
I would like to ask you to drop Fox News from my package. It is not a news channel but a (Edited per community guidelines) channel that is pushing false information that is hurting our country.
I understand you can't drop it until their contract is up. I am asking that you don't renew their contract due to their lies and purposefully inciting the American people towards violent and reckless behavior.

So long as the content providers package Fox news, DTV has no choice but to provide it.

Like other TV providers, DirecTV provides you a variety of news channels. You can setup a favorites list to hide any channel you receive that you choose not to watch. There is no option to remove a channel from a package. You either hide it with a favorites list or drop all the way down to the Family package which is the only one that doesn't have FOX News.

Just cancel and seek another service. Quick fix to your issue.

@george3963 You don’t. The only way you stop a portion of what you pay going to any channel in your package is to switch to a package that does not include that channel or cancel.

In this case scenario, if you wanted to rid your bill of Fox News, you’d have to downgrade to the Family package. The Select and above packages do include Fox News (360) so at that point you are better off finding another provider.

You can't just delete from your bill, that's not how it works.
Fox News and Fox Business are in all packages except Family. However, all packages include access to locals. So if your area has a Fox affiliate channel (or direclty Fox owned), then your money makes it way to them like any other provider.
Your opinion of "traitorous" and such makes no difference. You would be hard pressed to find anybody who loves every single channel in their package.
Bottom line, you don't want money reaching Fox then you go without pay TV alltogether.
