Failed to validate billing address.
I figured I will give this a try as my last attempt at trying to start service with Directv. Just moved into a newly built home and I am trying to get service started. I have seen the Directv sales reps at my local Sam’s Club, so I figured I would try to go through them in order to receive the $250 gift card that they are offering. I go on the website to sign up and when I put in my billing address, I get the error “Failed to validate billing address.” I have chatted with several representatives to no avail. The last representative told me to call in this morning, which I did. The agent on the phone said that she was able to validate my address on her end. Tried again to go through the process and got the same error.
How do I get my address validated and added to the system so that I can order my service online and get the $250 gift card?
Thanks

Does your billing address match your credit/debit card address?

@nabukl I can’t even get that far in the checkout process, it asks for the billing address before you can even input payment information. But, yes this address does match my payment information.

Same apparent issue. When I put in my billing address, which is my home address -- and yes, it's a house, and it's valid -- it tries to force me to fill in the "optional" address2 field. Honestly, I'm about to walk away from the whole thing; if DirecTV can't get something right that's as important to their business model as creating an account, how bad is their tech on things that might consider less important but that might be important to me?
