i moved & upgraded my equipment. I was told that the installation fee would be waived & assigned another 2 year agreement. I was not told that I would be charged for an additional genie. I returned the genie but still no refund of the $49 charge. I was also charged the $199 installation fee! Who on earth can afford a $460 cable bill for 1 month? I’d rather give y’all the $480 to cancel my service & never come back to direct tv! Are there no consequences for lying to customers...y’all record all conversations...go back & listen to what I was told!

Same I was told by an employee the regional sports fee would be removed and my account credited 11.17. never happened. Now being told theres nothing they can do.

Post is from 2019. OP would have saved themselves the trouble had they read the order confirmation before they were installed.
