How can I get my DirecTV account CLOSED CLOSED CLOSED
Totally frustrated with the AT&T website. I cannot find out what my "obligation" is for my so-called DirecTV "Contract." I cannot find out why/when local sports and movie costs were added (I didn't seek them) and I am 1000% convinced AT&T has its whole website designed to keep me (Edited per community guidelines) off and unable to find a way to terminate this nightmare. I have wasted 3 hours trying to navigate the website to get thse simple issues addressed with NO success whatsoever . . and the 800-228-2020 is a 100% fraud. The most I have ever gotten out of the website was that annoying phrase "We're almost there" ... the website is the slowest website I have ever accessed.

The number you called is not fraud. Because of Covid-19 many call centers are closed. The remaining open ones are on skeleton crew as employees are on extended leave. So they are very understaffed.
However that is the AT&T side of the house. You should call the DirecTV customer support number. When you get the voice prompt say "cancel". Though that routes you directly, still be prepared for the long hold times as mentioned. At least this would avoid any extra transfers by sending you the correct way in the first place.
Contract is never available online. Because the most common reason for that info is considering cancelling, they want a live agent to discuss the situation and see if they can find a way to retain your business. If their offers or suggestions don't work for you, then they go over the cancellation info.
