You have to go through a 3rd party installer as DirecTV only installs for permanent residence (not RV or boats).
Plus you cannot use the boxes the boat has since DirecTV will not reactivate them. You cannot transfer boxes between customers since a couple years ago. This is because all the old owned options were discontinued long ago. And most likely it is MPEG-2 equipment on the boat which must be replaced with MEPG-4 equipment. They are in the middle of shutting down the MPEG-2 feeds.
What are the models of every box on the boat, and what dish? That way you know if you have a MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 setup (full install, or just boxes with any small updates as needed).

For boats the dish needed is the Intellian s6HD.

Usually the mobile dish marker handles the account setup.

@shannon02
You posted duplicate 4 hours apart. Though you went from the dish marker to the dish maker.
