How do I get a return kit?

I cancelled my service on 10/25/19 and they told me they would send a return kit since  UPS and FedEx in my area will not accept the DVR without a box. I called over a week ago and they gave me FedEx tracking number that FedEx says does not exist. It doesn't seem to do any good to try to talk to support since they can't seem to answer  how or when I can get a return kit.

Suggest you DO not Dispose of any equipment -SHould they BIll you for any Un-returned Equipment --You will still have it to return ans well as the correct department to contact.

It also Possible that may NOT want any of your boxes --only time will tell -wait for at least 3 billing cycles --HANG onto everything

They will want that back -- However since your Account is Closed it is NO longer Valid and that's the real reason you can NOT get any Response you like  --HANG on to it -Take a Picture of the UNIT ID numbers and Keep it for your Files.

I took it to the UPS Store in Idaho Falls, about 90 miles from my home
and they were all set up to return DirecTv DVRs. Another guy right ahead
of me in line was returning one too.

You went 90 miles to Idaho Falls? I'll assume you didn't go from Pocatello as I would have expected them to have a participating location. Wow, that is quite the drive. Does save you the $135 NRF. But yes, if over 10 miles away from a participating shipper then they should have sent you the prepaid return kit.

I didn't go to Idaho Falls just to return the DVR, I had other business
there. Pocatello is about 50 miles farther from my place than Idaho Falls.

Well glad you had other stuff to take care of. Just for the DVR would have annoyed me. Though once in a while I do like a good long drive, but preferred with no obligations along the way.
