How to authenticate that I get Directv on Roku so I can get SciGo Science channel?

I have DirecTV with a subscription to the Science channel.  I want to be able to get SciGo on Roku but when I tried to watch How the Universe Works I get the following message:

"This content is available to viewers who receive Science as part of their pay-TV subscription"

I do get the Science channel on DirecTV and I am able to login to HBO Max on the Roku because somehow it knows I get HBO on DirecTV.  I am also able to  login to the science channel on the web as I have authenticated it somehow.  So how do I authenticate this for SciGo on Roku?

Try uninstalling the app and re-installing it.  I had that happen with HGTV Go.

That did not work but it sure sounded like a good idea.  I also just signed up for HGTV Go and I get the same error message that I need to have subscription on DirecTV.

Roku authentication breaks once in a while. I would uninstall the app and then reboot the Roku (menu option or just unplug power for a minute). Then reinstall the app. Hopefully that will get it back in sync.
