25+ year, now former customer.  So tired of having to fight each year to get the same price I was paying.  Just talked to the Loyalty dept and was told too bad.  So I cancelled my service and they don't give a hoot.  Fantastic service.  Congrats.

25+ year, now former customer.  So tired of having to call in each year and spend an hour arguing about raising the bill.  I called in to the Loyalty dept and was basically told, too bad.  So I set up to have my service discontinued.  25+ years of loyaty gets you no where with this company.  I guess I will find out how Dish Network handles their customer relations.

Networks raise their costs to the TV providers year after year. Naturally, we see it in our bills over time with the annual price adjustment.

Business cannot indefinitely discount their customer base as that is not sustainable. It was announced quite some time ago that discounts would be pulled back to address an issue of some accounts having too much in discounts.

Remember those discounts are a temporary perk, not something to make the service affordable for you. Bottom line, if you cannot afford service without discounts then you cannot afford it. It is your responsibility to choose services within your comfortable budget. Loyalty doesn't change that.

This has nothing to do with customer relations. Simply put the gravy train has ended. You will see similar after Dish's intro special has ended. Unfortunatley networks have the TV providers stuck in a status quo. Best they can do is minimize cost increases every time networks hard ball to increase their prices.

You've already called DirecTV, canceled, and put your issue on record for your account. Double posting, in a thread looking for an email address (when you've already stated your issue officially), doesn't change the situation.
