Is there a new and shorter URL to login to my Directv account than the hideously long and complicated one the redirects through at&t??
My old AT&T login still gets me to my Directv account but not without tons of redirects, etc. Is there a simpler directv.com/login page that will get me to the same place??? Now that at&t has separated even more fully from Directv, why should I still have to go through a URL that redirects through at&t??? Just very messy and I suspect one day will start failing... Any help would be much appreciated...

Yeah, litzdog911, I already did that…. I go to
www.directv.com
Then click on “sign in” and then of the two choices (“watch now” or “account overview”) I choose the latter and it still takes me to this crazy URL….
https://signin.att.com/dynamic/iamLRR/LrrController?IAM_OP=login&appName=m45917&loginSuccessURL=https%3A%2F%2Foidc.idp.clogin.att.com%2Fmga%2Fsps%2Foauth%2Foauth20%2Fauthorize%3Fresponse_type%3Did_token%26client_id%3Dm45917%26scope%3Dopenid%26response_mode%3Dform_post%26state%3DHALODTV%26nonce%3Dsdfdds8%26qmsid%3D9bb70018a98b49547148c7001b38a01d%26qmuid%3D1eb6fbee3720ba6cd219c2ccd2f9437f%26redirect_uri%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.directv.com%252Fmsapi%252Fdtvloginms%252Fv1%252Fauthenticate%253FnextUrl%253Doverview
Which granted works but note that it’s still an at&t url with crazy redirects, etc…. It works but that’s hardly a simple, easy access to “directv.com”…. I call that a MESS and something that should be way simplified to avoid problems down the road!!!!

Hello @ditto. Your post has caught our attention and we want to guide in the right direction.
Let's us share with you that we have just one URL available to login into your DIRECTV service. Please keep in mind that our online accounts may be redirected to AT&T website during the process.
You can sign in to DIRECTV, and continue with the prompts there.
Please let us know if you have further questions, we'll be attentive to give you a hand.
