Where is this channel? Your promise page says nothing about the return of this channel time frame. My fall shows start on this channel this month . If you're not going to carry this channel I will switch to someone who does. I have been a DirecTV customer over 10 years and this is not acceptable. You cannot get rid of our local channels and expect us to be ok with searching for other ways to watch the channel when we pay YOU for these channel . FIX IT!

There is no return time frame because it is a negotiation. DirecTV and the channel owner have to come to an agreement before the owner will return the feed. That could take days, weeks, or in some unfortunate cases months. You cannot guarantee when two entities will agree.
Nothing to fix as it is not broken and everyone is following the rules. DirecTV cannot force the owner of the channel to return the feed. It is not expected that you will be "ok" with the channel gone, but the Terms of Service state that channels can change at any time, which is a clause all TV providers have because it is impossible to guarantee any channel will be there always.
Some of us would like locals to be an optional al-a-carte option so only those that want to pay for channels that otherwise have a free broadcast can do so. Why should TV providers and us customers keep paying higher rates for channels we can get free? I certainly didn't go to pay TV for my locals as those I can get with my antenna.
