Manage my package

I have tried on the directv.com site, the directv.com app and on all my devices to maker changes to Manage my Package but it does not work for me.

Is there anyway to do this without calling in all the time. This is crazy.

Unfortunately, sometimes DIRECTV requires you call in to upgrade the package. There is a chat feature available once you sign into your account but often those agents are uneducated and mislead the customer. Additionally, they perform the wrong steps and end up messing with accounts. The best way to resolve this issue is by calling DIRECTV (number in my greeting below).

If you are raising package or adding additional services, then that should be able to be done on the website. Though with the new co-owner they are still updating a lot of things which may make some of that access temporarily unavailable and require calling.

You should only have to call to manage package if you are lowering it (as they want to discuss any lost revenue to the company and try to find options that work for you that minimize it), or if you have a grandfathered package as the website only manages current options.
