My bill
Pay my bill regularly. I get confirmation the day ITS PROCESSED AND A NOTICE THE VERY NEXT DAY SAYING ITS PAST DUE. I CAN NOT WAIT TO GET EVERYTHING AT&T CANCELLED, GONE AND NEVER RETURN. ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES ON THIS PLANET !! DIP(Edited per community guidelines)S EXTRAORDINAIR 11

If you submit payment through DirecTV itself (their customer support number or website), it should post same day. If paid late in the day it might post the following day. If however you use a 3rd party method (your bank's bill pay, Moneygram, payment center, etc.) it can take up to 3 days to post to your DirecTV balance. So confirmation of payment submitted is not the same as posted to the balance.
Now a past due notice the following day means payments are cutting it too close (or actually paid late to begin with). Paying regularly doesn't change when the bill is due to be paid.
In either case if you want to cancel you must call DirecTV. This is a public forum of other customers so we cannot do that for you.
