My Directv Service was suspended

I am a veteran who is 100% disabled due to PTSD.  I mistakenly missed 2 payments on my directv account and they suspended my service and will not restore it until I pay half of the bill.  I have $19 in my checking account from medical bills.  They say they care about veterans that's (Edited per community guidelines).  I told them that I could pay the account in full on the 1st of March.  They said that's to late and that my service would be cancelled.  Due to other medical conditions I cannot leave the house for fear of getting COVID.  They had no sympathy.  I have been a directv customer for almost 20 years still no help or sympathy.

customer service reps do not have the ability nor authority to over ride the computer system, and sorry you cant pay half to get restored the bill must be paid in full to zero including any late fees and possible deposit.

Sorry to hear that, and thank you for your service as a veteran! Unfortunately, after AT&T bought DIRECTV in 2015, everything has gone down to the drain. I totally understand and DIRECTV is very expensive. If stuff can't get sorted out with DIRECTV, I would recommend switching to another satellite TV service like Dish Network or Orby TV, they are a LOT cheaper. Also, you may want to go to cable TV if it is available in your area.

@cardboardguy401 , Orby is dead. They're no longer accepting customers.
