$150 to $275 I find hard to believe was just a programming change as that is over $100 difference. If that was told by an agent, I'm not sure they went over everything.

Look at your bill and see what changed from the prior month to the current one. Are there new listings, discounts falling off, or something else? We don't have access to your account, but if you were to post the information from the high bill and the normal one before that we could see exactly what the difference is and see what you might try disputing with DirecTV. If there is a programming change, they would need to check the day of the change and see where the request came from to see if it can be determined to be an error (such as a change made to the wrong account).

Like any company if you want to cancel you call them, not post in a forum.

The amount of $275 is certainly a high amount for DirecTV by itself. With that amount I would expect there to be one-time charges (PPVs or equipment order), or possibly past due carrying over. What does the bill say?

Ok, if you don't want to resolve it and want to move on I respect that. Hope all goes well for your final billing.
