New account free programs included

This forum is not customer support. Posting that here won’t stop them from renewing when the free period ends. Sorry to say, but you are probably going to have to call to cancel them when the time comes.

Renewal is not exactly how it works.

The free 3 months of HBO (or others) is done by providing a credit for the full amount for those 3 months. After the promo time, the credit falls off, not the channels. Their hope is you like them enough that you keep them. If you don't want to keep all of them (or any), then you call DirecTV prior to the end of the 3 months to remove them.

This is a public forum, customer to customer, so we cannot remove the channels for you. Up to you to call when you are done with them.

You need to wait a month to cancel to avoid the early removal fee.
