Non-Returned Equipment Charge
I got charged $150 for a non-returned equipment charge. I contacted AT&T via chat on 3 separate occasions (August 16, September 3 & September 9) to look into this. Every time I spoke to them, I was assured the equipment was returned and the charge was in error. To not pay the charge of $150 and it would be removed by the next billing cycle. Well, after receiving emails that threatened to cancel my service, I check my bill only to see they took my credit card and charged my amount PLUS $150. Now, I'm chatting again with them and this person is stating it hasn't been returned. WHAT A CROCK! How do I get my money back????

Recently Chat seems to not be as reliable as it used to be. I would call DirecTV to sort this out. When you get the voice prompt say "cancel" so you get an experienced retention agent. Since you have already dealt with Chat multiple times, I would skip past front line care at this point.
