Obtain copy of contract
Hi ATT! I have just spent about an hour on the phone with 3 representatives and was not able to find a resolution. I was asking to obtain a copy of my contract with a date that the contract is up. I expected this to be pretty easy and am confused why it was not. How do I get a record of my contract details? I also asked over chat and was told I would be transferred to another representative and was not. They just stopped answering me and it timed out due to inactivity. Can someone help me get a copy of my contract with DirecTV?

You cannot get a copy in writing on the exact agreement date. You can have DirecTV send you the order confirmation for your initial install, later upgrade, or move that shows where the agreement came from. But the agreement goes from the day the equipment is installed, not order placed. Also if your service is ever suspended (voluntary or not), that pushes back the agreement date as only active service counts towards it.
So call DirecTV and confirm what the current date is on the account. If you have never been suspended, then just have them email the order confirmation as that should be within days of the actual agreement date (order vs install date) depending how long it was to your actual appointment.
