Paid Bill, No TV?

My HARDWORKING stepfather paid for Direct TV 3 days ago and still no Television. What is going on? And can you all PLEASE hurry up because not only do I want to see My Hero Academia on Saturday (Tomorrow) but also my stepfather is planning to CANCEL YOUR SERVICE on Monday. PLEASE bring the TV back!!!!

was it shut off for non payment? if so was the bill paid in full to zero? they wont restore service until its paid to a zero balance

Have your stepfather log into his account online and verify that not only the payment was successful, but that it was for balance in full as interrupted for past due will not get reinstated with just a partial payment.

If the payment was fine and account shows active, what happens when you try to watch TV? Describe symptoms, error messages, and model number of boxes. It might be as simple as account active, but boxes just not recognizing it. In that case try refreshing the service authorizations. www.directv.com/refresh

However if the account was paid in full, but account is not active, then he will need to call DirecTV to manually reinstate the account. This is a public forum of other customers, and the occasional employee on their personal time (off the clock), so there is no account access here.
