Pay as You Go
RV or Vacation Home Directv Satellite usage. Is it possible to use the King or an existing Directv Satellite and pay for Directv usage on a pay as you go.. Similar to other satellite competitors plans?

Satellite TV doesn't have the same business model as satellite internet. So there is not a pay as you go option for DirecTV. You get a residential account, which the intro offer comes with a 24 month service agreement to keep the service.
Also the King cannot be used as even if it was compatible it would only support DirecTV's outdated MPEG-2 feeds which have been shutting down. Going forward RV users would need a regular slimline SWM dish on a sled/tripod mount, or the Winegard Trav'ler, as well as a MPEG-4 receiver.

I've seen the Slimline dish which may be a good option. What Directv receivers are MPEG-4? This is very helpful!

Only MPEG-4 boxes will be provided. Those are HD capable and DirecTV had grandfathered their SD-only service in late 2015.
So a H or HR model is what you would get. Most recent models are H25 and HR24. Though you can also use a Genie (3rd generation is HR54), it works best as the one staying at home (especially if you have any Clients as they will not work without it).
You will need to speak with a 3rd party about the RV install as DirecTV only installs in the home themselves.
