When setting through your bank remember it is DirecTV, not Direct TV.
Also be cautious as since your bank doesn't get your bills, they don't know the exact amount of it and can only pay what you designate. So if you setup a recurring payment that ends up being less than what is owed, any past due consequences are on you. Alternatively setting directly through DirecTV itself makes sure what is paid is the exact amount of the bill each month, no more and no less.
Payments made via 3rd party (such as bank payment as you are doing) post within 3 business days. So make sure it is well enough before the due date on the bill.
