Premier Protection plan on my Direct TV account

I am paying $25.98 every month to protect not only my Direct TV equipment but also all of my electronics in the house.  It includes phones, dvd players, TV's, computers and a plethora of electronic things.  It is also supposed to include glass breakage, spills and even drops that are my fault.  That all sounds great until you want to make a claim.  I have currently been on the phone for 45 minutes and still counting.......   No one knows how to make a claim or who to talk to about making  a claim.  I was once told that it was an outside company so I called today to get the name of the company and their phone number.  Still, NO ONE KNOWS WHO TO TALK TO.  I JUST WANT TO MAKE A CLAIM ON A POLICY I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR OVER A YEAR.  Can anyone help me?

The protection plan is managed by asurion DirecTV has a protection plan premier department they should have transferred you to.

All three times I've called in I just say "protection plan" at the automated voice prompt. from there I've gotten an agent who processed the claim. I'd give that a shot if you haven't already.

Either call and say "Protection Plan" at the voice prompt or start your claim online.
