Be aware that a "Promise to Pay" is NOT a "Payment Arrangement".
All the Promise means is you let them know yes you will pay so they stop sending you notices. It does not avoid late fees or service interruption.
A Payment Arrangement on the other hand is for when you are past due with a service interruption date set and you official set an arrangement to push back that interruption date. Doesn't get rid of the late fee, but does allow service to stay on longer for you to make your payment. Just remember this doesn't push back the balance from your current bill along with the past due.
