Promised a 200.00 gift card from the door to door salesman and only received a 100.00 gift card.

We had a door to door salesman stop by and talk to us about switching to Direct TV. He made all kinds of promises. One being that we would be sent a 200.00 gift card. It arrived and was only for 100.00. We were told it would be a month before we would get a bill. It was like 10 days. We were promised a 10.00 less per month bill .......he called it a fireman's credit. It doesn't look like we are getting a 10.00 per month credit. Just wondering why he promised us all these things and none of it was true. I even tried contacting him and got nowhere. We are pleased with our service. I did have to call Spectrum to cancel our services and he had promised us he would take care of that as well.

Because he doesn't work for DTV or AT&T but for a third party company and he wanted his commission.

Read the sales confirmation email, it will detail what was actually ordered vs what you were told. As for the amount of gift card make sure you met all the requirements for $200.00 vs  $100.00.
