Promo to pay 50% of bill

I received several emails, the last one on March 31st, saying that I can pay 50% of my balance due. This promo ended on April 2nd and I called about it and set up a payment to be made on April 2nd, which was made. I was not able to speak with a live representative because the wait was just too long. So the promo has not been applied to my account and now I'm getting emails that are adding more and more money to my account.
Today, April 23rd, I cannot get a live representative on the line again to fix this problem. Can you help?

That is not a DirecTV promo but a known scam. They don't give 50% off balance due. If you paid through that other number, then you give your money to criminals instead of DirecTV.
