Return Equipment Authorization does not match what e-mail says to return

I cancelled my Direct TV account after 9 years and received an e-mail telling me that boxes had been shipped and to return all 6 of my receivers (2-D12-100), (3 - HR24-700) and (1 - HR-500).    Direct TV sent two boxes that can hold two receivers each, however, the only receivers listed to return are the (3 - HR24-700) receivers.      I still have my original Direct TV receiver boxes.  Can I box up the two D12-100 receivers and the HR24-700 receiver and return to Direct TV on my own,  OR should I call them and see if I can explain to them I need authorization and another box for the remaining receivers?

There is no HR500 so send the correct model number, all the others are non returnable. You can still box and return the HR24s if you want.

But they are not returnable so UPS/FedEx will not take them.
