Returns

I have had my service terminated and last week I talked to a representative who assured me that I would have boxes and labels coming. As of now I haven't seen any of them. Directv brought all this stuff into my home. If y'all aren't going to live up to what I was told Y'all can come get it yourselves.

What are the receiver model numbers?

You take returnable receivers and your account info to a UPS/FedEx store to scan them in and keep the receipt.  DTV only sends boxes if you are more then 10 miles from one been this way for 2 years so don't know why they tell you that.  You own everything but the receivers to do what you want with DTV will not remove anything.

DirecTV never sends someone to bring back equipment. It is up to you (ya'll) to return it. However, the agent you talked to didn't give accurate info.

Sending a return kit is the old return process. That has changed in the last couple of years. Here is the current process.

How To Return The Equipment

Go to a FedEx or UPS location with your account #. No need to bring a box or label, the equipment will be boxed it up & shipped out at no charge. The process takes less than 5 minutes.

They only use the old process if you are over 10 miles away from a participating shipper. And that you call in and request.

Now it is very possible the boxes aren't returnable anymore in the first place as they have been moving forward with only the current generation. What are the models of each of your boxes?
