was told the reginal sports fee would be removed. they refuse to honor that. jacking up the bill sky high. refuse to talk to me altho my wife has given permison. do not get Direct Tv. they only care about money.

Everyone with the Choice or above channel package pays the RSN fee there is no way other than lowering the package to remove it, AFAIK around $10 is the max for the fee as it varies due to the service address.

@JamesInNevada No excuse for any rep telling you it will be removed when it can’t be removed. The only way to get rid of the regional sports fee is to downgrade to a package that does not include a regional sports channel.

Fcc forbids them to remove it. Change packages or continue to pay. Federal law trumps anything a rep tells you 🤦♂️

All TV providers have to charge RSN fees if you are in a channel package that requires them.

nope. The agent told me he'd cancel the regional sports fee and refund the 11.17. DIdn't misunderstand at all.

According to other posts this $11.17 was a one time credit due to Covid-19 stopping all sports.

THE $11.17 WAS A ONE TIME CREDIT LISTED ON YOUR APRIL BILL AS A 2020 SPORTS COURTESY ADJUSTMENT. YOU GOT THAT CREDIT ALREADY. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET IT EVER AGAIN. YOU HAVE TO PAY THE REGIONAL SPORTS FEE EVERY MONTH AS LONG AS YOU HAVE CHOICE OR ABOVE BECAUSE IT IS A MANDATORY FEE. MANDATORY.
