Satellite Dish Left on my newly purchased home. Do you want it back or is it now junk?

I have recently purchased a mobile home with a Direct TV satellite dish on the roof. We will not be using Direct TV. Do I remove the dish and throw it away or do you come and get it?

I'd suggest not removing the mount plate from the roof, to avoid any leaks. It's okay to take the dish off of the mount plate.

With DirecTV, only receiver/client boxes are returned. Everything else, such as the receiving dish, is owned by the customer once installed.

If you choose to recycle it, the receiving dish goes with regular metal recycling and the LNB (the "eye") with electronics. It is highly suggested to leave the mounting plate to prevent leaks.
