Scam
I was aggressively sold a two year contract from att. ATt failed to mention that promotions expire after 12 months! My bill skyrocket up almost $100. This is a scam, it is shady business practice. K I no longer want att but am locked in a contract. This is my first problem my second problem is that my iPad was destroyed. Att charged me an early termination fee for that but didn’t tell me! I will file a dispute but unfortunately you can only file a dispute by mail. I do not own envelopes and stamps. Att is a technology company, so how is it that you cannot file a dispute electronically. I want an arbitrator but am amazed at how hard you’ve made that process. I’ve found is extremely hard to even get a Representative on the phone. I’ve spun through so many hoops I only gotten angry you’ve awakened a beast and I will not stop fighting your terrible terrible business. Whoever is reading this please do not try and hide this message it will come out and I will stop this injustice!

whats the point of filing a complaint over valid charges, it seems to me you dont read what you signing up for. all tv providers have a 2 year contract with the first year discounted its been this way since cable and satelite were turned on it is in your confirmation email when you signed up, AT&T hasnt had contracts for over 4 years, what you were charged for was the remainder you owed on the cost of the ipad arbitration takes 2-4 years to settle based on the experience of other users in the forums

DirecTV Terms of Service (I'm assuming you have DirecTV since you posted in the DirecTV forum).
Paragraph 8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION BY BINDING ARBITRATION will provide you with direction.

@Kcbeinster
DirecTV intro offers are a 12 month discount, but a 24 month service agreement. This is because of the value of equipment they are installing, same reason it is a 24 month agreement for later upgrades of equipment.
No matter what a sales agent (for any company) says, read the paperwork. The order confirmation clearly lists the 24 month agreement. When you sign off on install you are accepting that the order is correct as shown on the confirmation.
If you don't own envelopes and stamps, you can simply go to the post office, or a store though usually it will be a pack of them. The digital age doesn't mean that everything is digital. So some things are only done by written correspondence. As for contact over the phone, well because of Covid-19 they had to shutdown many call centers temporarily.
Nobody is trying to hide this message, and there is no injustice (though you may feel there is one) because of you failing to read the paperwork. As for "awakened the beast" that just sounds like a corny movie line.
If you wish to seek arbitration, then check the Residential Agreement on the rules.
