Second home

Hi. We have directv at both primary and secondary homes. Separate accounts. Second home is a lake house about an hour from primary home.

Problem is the lake house is in a county where directv doesn’t have a contract for local channels. Do I have any options to get local channels at the lake house based on my primary address?

What do you mean that "directv doesn't have contract for local channels"? There are very few areas where DirecTV doesn't provide locals. Have you checked this: www.directv.com/locals

There is no way to get the locals from your primary address. The FCC regulates what local stations you can get based on your Service Address zip code. Also, local stations are beamed from "spot beam transponders" that may not cover your lake house location.

Your only option would be an antenna
