I'm a bit upset. I received a phone call today stating I'm such a wonderful customer I will be rewarded with Starz for $13.99 price subject to change. The call itself just (Edited per community guidelines) me off. The person fast talked and and doesn't let you speak. Any way there's a Fn pandemic going on and AT&T is trying to get more money out of me. How about you give me free service. It  makes me sick how you big (Edited per community guidelines) company's have no none no sympathy for those of us who still have this TV service.  This is bull s... I'm DISGUSTED with the practices of AT&T.

I just got a phone call wanting me to renew the warranty on my car.  How DARE they????  😠

I'm a senior on a fixed income, there's a pandemic and they want more money out of me???  How about they renew my warranty for free????  😡

Easier yet, don’t answer the phone to begin with. I never answer calls from unknown numbers but if caller ID actually says it’s Directv, I know it’s an attempt to sell me more programming. There is no other reason Directv will call you.

The only reason I have not canceled service is because my 79 year uncle whom I take of would not be able to figure out how to use a streaming service. I'm just fed up. I never complain I'm the one that rolls with it, but this call got to me. Rant over.

Pandemic doesn't stop telemarketers. People still have to make money. So companies don't cease all operations just because some people are in a hard spot. I wouldn't expect different from any other company.

Just politely decline the offer and move on. Don't take it so personally.

However I will say that was a poor "offer". The full cost of Starz (if no other premium packs) is $13.99, so that was no promotion at all. Normally promotions are discounted (or even full cost credited listed as "free") for 3 months.

More people are at home with desire to use their TV more and get more variety so is a good sales time. That was unfortunately one sales agent laying on the banana oil.
