Still being Billed

We CX Directv of ONE of two separate Directv accounts. We currently kept Directv Stream Acct

The ONE Directv Account we cancelled 3 months ago continues billing $116.67/month on credit card automatically. After several phone calls with Directv Support to cancel and stop service for this ONE Acct With extensive discussion they confirmed cancellation of this ONE Acct and figured out our refund, we paid the cancellation fee and etc and thought it was DONE ! The Direct service Rep ASSURED  that it was taken care of it.

Still being monthly billing payment/ mo  PLEASE HELP!

Call DirecTV. Get voice prompt say "cancel" to be transferred directly to the correct department. Discuss including any save attempt and finalize cancelation. Goes through at end of service cycle.

Yes if cancellation was noted but not done then they have to provide a billing correction going back to the end of the service month when it was canceled. You do not pay the ECF at this time because it doesn't exist yet. After account is canceled you get a statement the next month at normal time. This would show any final adjustments (billing correction for cancel request that wasn't completed when it should have), and ECF if you still had time left on the service agreement, to confirm whether a balance was owed or perhaps a small refund due (or $0 balance in the unlikely event it all evened out).

If after that last call you made you got a bill for the next month of service, not final billing charges/adjustments, then file a BBB complaint for the ongoing problem.
